Dr. Helal married his wife, Stephanie in May of 2015 and they have three beautiful daughters together, two of which are identical twins. Dr. Helal is a native Houstonian and graduated from Sharpstown High School in 1991. He did his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 1991-1994. He went on to attend dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1994 and graduated in 1998. Dr. Helal opened his dental practice in Sugar Land, Texas in January 2001. Dr. Helal has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry including ceramic veneers, dental implant placement and restoration, dental extractions, root canal treatment and metal free dental partials and dentures. He stays current with the latest trends in dentistry by attending hundreds of continuing dental education hours. His office is equipped with modern equipment including digital radiographs. Dr Helal completed a Preceptorship in Dental Implantology in March 2008 from the University of Texas San Antonio Dental School and thus became a Fellow and Member with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He continues to attend many continuing dental education classes related to dental implant placement and restoration. In addition to his implant studies, he also completed a two year academic and clinical program training with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars in February 2014.

Lupe has been working with Dr. Helal since January 1999 to present. Through the years she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in the following dental areas: orthodontic, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, dental practice management and most recently Lupe has completed additional education in the implant placement and restorative field.
Lupe has a certificate in the dental assisting implant program. She is a member of The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management.
Lupe assists her patients in treatment coordination and oversees patient finance options, insurance benefits and billing.
Lupe acts as a dental liaison between the dentist and his patients.
She is a Texas Registered Dental Assistant and is certified in taking dental radiographs, and also has a business management certificate. Lupe continues to stay current in the dental field by taking continuing education classes.
